Ahhh! I love the idea of writing or journaling first before jumping to creating your vision board. This absolutely gives you clarity about what you really want and what you envision your year to be!
Yes! I'm definitely going to try this method of journaling before vision boarding.
I am a working mom with 3-year old, aspiring to be someone who is more organized, better at looking after people that’s near and far from me. Growingly I feel like I am hitting a wall that’s always going to be there, stash of stuff just weighing me down as a reminder of.. my laziness and alike, brain fog for having too much in my head but also being easily forgetful. Watching your video, how you intend to live your life, is really speaking to me as I am beginning to really realize that it has to start from looking after myself, which I easily forget to do. Last week I took my son to meet Santa, and I was taken aback as I couldn’t answer his question asking me what I want for Christmas. I feel like I am constantly buying stuff - for kids, for house and for me too, but really not intently, as I am just trying to gather my thoughts here after watching your week 1 & 2 videos. As always, hugely helpful! And thanks for the challenge. Off to offloading what I don’t want to carry over starting 2023! 😊

I love journaling, but I never used to give a lot of thought to vision boards, I never saw the point. But these days, I turn to my vision board a lot, I made one for myself on Pinterest and it means a lot to me
Every time I set out to create goals, or plan, a lot of the time I’m hung up on the “where do I start?” And taking a moment of introspection is a game changer, reflect, and see where you’re at right then. Then you can dive into the goals/plans/vision. After 2022, I’m hoping 2023 is better 💜
Watching this actually makes me want to get an iPad just to create lol. I'm really enjoying the challenge so far! It's congruent with the overall aim of intentional living and allowing my nervous system to practice slow living. Life has been filled with dilemmas since cancer, my mind is finally ready to make changes I can feel proud of. Truly grateful to have found your channel, Jules. Thank you for doing what you do!
I appreciate your vulnerability! What are some things you're doing to practice slow living? In my mind, it overlaps a lot with practicing mindfulness but I'm curious what it looks like for you.
Same about the iPad 😂 I was on the fence but as I have a new job starting I think this is finally the year to get an iPad Pro!!! Cheers and here's to a fabulous 2023!!! 🎉
I literally bought an iPad just for that reason 😅 and it’s been the best investment ever!!!
I also just bought an iPad last week only for creative purposes haha I didn’t want to sink money into a brand new one so I bought a used one from someone to test it and be sure I loved it first! And I do lol

Love the idea of writing as if something is already happening. "I am" and "I will" over "I hope" or "I wish"!
I love that you mixed in personal photos, too! You don't see many vision boards that way. So intentional!

Creating a vision boar is my favorite thing to do as we approach the end of the year. There is something about this exercise that feels so inspiring. I have done vision boards for years and I appreciate you sharing how you go about yours this year. I got little things that I want to incorporate or do a little differently this year. This was really neat. I've made several vision boards before, but I don't think I really knew what I was doing. I loved how you sped up the video to literally show us how you choose pictures and quotes. It's also such a great idea to put the vision board as my lock screen on my ipad. Thank you! Thank you for the journaling/vision boarding inspo, Jules! Journaling is a practice that I’ve had since childhood but had fallen away for a few years, so this video has given me the motivation to begin again. And you’re right, anytime is a great time to (re)start.

I've been trying to get into creating a vision board and I love how your OS journal helps make it so intuitive and gives you absolutely no reason to skip out. I love the idea of pulling inspo from the past self to inspire the current/future self. Can't forget where we started.

I’ve never been one to manifest my future, but I think 2023 is the year I need to begin. I’m starting to realize my current life is what I’ve been hoping and waiting for all my life (married with a career), and some days it feels like there’s nothing else to look forward to. Sitting down and manifesting the upcoming year will definitely get me back in a positive mindset and look forward to my dream life.

I love digital journaling and your journal seems so perfect! I started using a digital planner template this year but it turns out I only used the reflection prompts on the planner - I prefer to plan my day on gcal and notion so I didn't end up fully utilizing my planner... this vision journal on the other hand seems like just what I need, such a great idea! 💕

I had never considered journaling digitally but with the iPad it looks like such a beautiful way to still create handwritten reflections with the benefit of storing them digitally. Thank you for the inspiration..
I was 40+ before hearing "vision board." And even then I was not completely sold. However, time has given me a chance to explore new and unchartered territory and vision boards have found a place. YAY! lol

Love vision boarding! The last 2 years I’ve done my digitally too and it really helps to have it in as many places as possible, mac Lock Screen, phone background, ipad background etc. I even create a Pinterest board with the same images and use the widget to rotate the images on my ipad Home Screen every hour ❤
